The Power for January: Faith
The spiritual power for this month is represented by the disciple Peter. The corresponding colour is blue and the location is the center brain (pineal gland).
Affirmation:
“I have faith in God; I have faith in Spirit; I have faith in things, invisible.”
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Heb. 11:1. In order to understand the purpose and function of Faith, we must consider the nature of God. God is all good. The source of everything spiritual and material, but the source is invisible. Faith is our ability to draw from the invisible realm into visible expression.
We are always using our Faith faculty to some degree whether we realize it or not. Faith is also pivotal and being fearful is using our faculty of Faith erroneously.
We become more receptive to Spirit when we place more confidence in the “within” than in the “without” as all our faculties move from within to out. Let us always remember to place our Faith in God’s order, in God’s law and in unchanging grace and be thankful to God for our faculty of Faith.
Exercise your Faith. The way to bring forth the God presence, to make oneself conscious of God, is to say: I have Faith in God; I have Faith in Spirit; I have Faith in things invisible. Such realizations of Faith will make God visible to the mind and will strengthen the Faith faculty.
