The Power for June: Imagination

The representing disciple is Bartholomew. In the gospel of John, his name is Nathaniel. It is believed that both names refer to the same person, and that Bartholomew, as he is called in the synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, was his sur-name. The co-ordinating colour is light blue, and the physical location for this power is directly between, and just a little above the eyes. It is sometimes known as the Third Eye.

Imagination is one of your most delightful, God-given spiritual faculties. It is the eye of your consciousness. It is your spiritual vision. It is your ability to perceive the limitless possibilities of your good. It is that point of your consciousness where you can see and picture your desire.

Imagination also gives shape, form and colour to unformed mental energy. As you perceive that which you need, you actually give it form. If you become still, and draw on the Christ Consciousness of Divine Imagination within you, and clearly "see" it in your mind’s eye, you give the shape, form and colour to whatever it is that you sincerely desire, and it becomes visible in your life. Our Imagination is very powerful!

There is one Source of all that is. We call it Divine Mind, God, Energy, Thought – or whatever name you choose. It is from this one Source that we draw Imagination, love, strength, faith, wisdom, and everything we could possibly need. Man’s Imagination tries to give form to the formless and to define the undefinable. The Source Itself remains formless and undefinable. It is “The Infinite”.

Never disqualify your Imagination by saying "It’s only my Imagination". It is a spiritual gift from God which assists you in developing awareness. It is the link between your present consciousness and your undreamed-of-possibilities.
