The Power for December: Life
The spiritual power for this month is represented by the disciple Judas. The corresponding colour is red and the physical location in the body is the generative region.
Affirmation:
“I am Spirit and I am wholly satisfied by the great flood of spiritual life that now fills my body.”
Life is the faculty of movement, vitality, wholeness and creativity. It is the expression of the pure eternal Life within us. Life is divine, spiritual and its source is God / Spirit. In people, Life is their increasing consciousness of their world, their inner activities, the forces and movements about them. It is their power to express the eternal activity of God.
When Life is directed from the sense consciousness, it degenerates into a seeking to satisfy the senses and therefore requires direction. We must learn to watch our consciousness, its impulses and desires.
When the faculties of wisdom, understanding and judgment direct it, it is directed in ways that enhance one’s spiritual Life. The river of Life is within all in their spiritual consciousness and by consciously contacting Spirit through prayer and meditation and good works, new Life is quickened in mind and body.
Quicken Life through the spiritual activity of the Christ with the attention centered on the generative center and affirm:
“Jesus Christ is now here, raising me to his consciousness of everlasting life and I am filled with vitalizing energy and power.”
